Learn the basics of the development of new public policy as it relates to the autism community and how the 3 branches of the government are necessary for full implementation of any law. It will also explain how and why we must all get involved to advocate for change and further why we need to engage not only our politicians but the public around us.

Workshops are provided at no cost to employees of Oklahoma Department of Human Services Developmental Disabilities Services (OKDHS-DDS) or families accessing services or on the waiting list for services through OKDHS-DDS. All others are invited to attend workshops for a nominal fee. You may be asked to verify your employment or affiliation with OKDHS-DDS.



Fee for this training:

-$20 for Parent/Family Members/Individuals with ASD

-$75 for Professionals/Educators

NOTE: CEUs available for those Registered as Professionals/Educators only.
