Up coming meetings:
February: We will be discussing "How to make friends" this would include stratigies for all ages, toddlers, children, teens and adults. We all like friends so come and talk with us on how to make new friends.
Mark your calendars for the 2nd TUESDAY of every month from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM for EFCA's Monthly meetings! All meetings will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 1001 South Rankin Edmond OK 73034.
The EFCA provides a FAMILY FRIENDLY FORMAT for all our parent support group meetings. We will have a specific number of children that can be served by the First Presbyterian childcare staff. Requests for childcare will be served on a first come, first served basis. The childcare staff at First Presbyterian have all been trained on how to care for those on the spectrum by the Oklahoma Autism Network. Call the childcare hotline at 405 341-3602 extension 333 to register your child. It is important to note that you MUST CALL for every meeting.
We will also have meeting rooms and activities for our teens and friends groups. To register your teen ages 12 to 16 should register with Crystal Frost at crystal@okautism-ofca.com or call (405) 715-1279. All friends ages 17 and up should register with Carmen Jones at (405) 330-2223 and or email Emily Sullivan at sully_101@yahoo.com. All registrations should be in by the Friday before each meetings.
Child care will include infant care, toddler care, pre-school rooms, activities for school age kids up to age 11.Depending on teen and young adult interests, we can have room for art, anime drawing, computers, music, etc. Each month, depending on registration, we will select specific activities and facilities that will be made available to families. The facilities at First Presbyterian include a gym, a movie theater, arts & crafts, puppet theater, stage, computer lab, library, pool tables, ping pong, and more! Your whole family will enjoy this night! So come and join us for a great night out!
If you will be utilizing child care, please print and complete the Childcare Information Sheet before you come to the meeting. This will speed up the registration process on our meeting night. If you have already completed these forms, you do not have to complete them again.
