There are many other parent-led organizations in the state that focus on specific geographies, treatments or issues that affect families. These groups can provide parent-to-parent support and resources to help families in their journey. Ada

Open to all SE Oklahoma families.  We welcome anyone wanting to learn more about autism spectrum disorders or have special needs children.

Meetings are typically held the 3rd Monday of the month at 7pm at the Olive Garden in Norman.

Oklahoma City

For families interested in or currently providing biomedical and dietary interventions for their child on the spectrum including but not limited to DAN! and Yasko protocols. In an informal setting families can share stories and provide support to one another. In the future with your input, we aim to focus on the topics that will provide the most beneficial information and support for all of our individual journeys.

  • Task force focusing on private insurance coverage for autism.

Letter to parents / grandparents explains what each advocate should be prepared to provide to their senator and representative.

The private insurance coverage handout provides brief overview of the issues facing families.

The state bill list identifies those bills that are currently active in the 2008 legislative session.

A group made for moms of children with Asperger's Syndrome to network with each other and to mentor with ideas as well as find help in the Tulsa area. A topic-oriented group (each month brings a new topic) with occasional speakers/professionals to tlak to the group.
