Perfect Wings is a camp created specifically for children ages 8-17 and adults 18 & up with special needs. This camp experiences is largely patterned by Cross Timbers Children's Missons Camp with schedule adjustments to allow time for each child to successfully complete each activities. The children will enjoy archery, BB gun range, crafts, climbing wall, zip lin, low ropes challenges, paddle boats, canoeing, and pool games (pool lift is available). Activities will be broken up into 2 larger groups, young campers will be with younger campers and 18 & up will be together.

High Adventure Weekend for families with children for autism is August 6, 2009 in Crested Butte, Colorado. Families with children with autism are invited to take part in a long weekend of outdoor adventure activities wit the Adaptive Sports Center. This four-day program is an opportunity for families to participate in a variety of adventure activities, form new bonds, play and relax together in a supportive setting. Wellness and nutrition play an important role throughout the weekend, with ASC staff providing nutritious adnd delicious meals that factor in gluten-free, casein-free and soy-free diets. Cost $225 per person includes one day on th ASC's challenge course, one day of swimming/canoeing/kayaking, one overnight campout, one breakfast, two lunches, two dinners, travel to and from activities, one parent social evening with childcare, and guest speaker. Scholarships are available.

ACI Summer Day Camp runs from August 9-13, 2010. Morning sessions are from 9am to 12pm and afternoon sessions are from 1pm to 4pm at Mitch Park 1501 W. Covell, Edmond, Ok. Vocal kindergarten through middle school children with emerging play and social skills welcome. Trained ABA therapists will be working with small groups of children, including typical peers. Daily activities include evidence-based age appropriate play skills with visual supports, modeling pro-socail skills withpeers, daily take home journal, games with rules play, camp crafts, camps snacks, board games, scavenger hunt, friday field trips. Price is $250 per session.

At 7pm parents and siblings are invited to join us for fun and fellowship. We will have singing, acitvity time, snacks and plenty of playtime. Reservations are requested by emailing childcare@fpcedmond.org or by calling (405) 341-3602 ext. 333. Please let us know if your child is on the spectrum so we can have special helpers on hand. Also VBS SonRock Camp is going to be in Stepheson Park (next to the Edmond History Musem) July 24th from 6pm to 8pm and then again on July 25th from 9am to 1pm. Free food and concert in the park along with bible crafts, games, activities, stories and fun.

Three half day "This is MY Oklahoma" camps from 8:30am to 12:30pm give kids ages 5-11 a chance to do artwork and dig for crystals from teh Great Salt Plains. Older kids 12-15 can be "Junior Ambassadors", giving tours and assissting teachers wihile learning about Oklahoma Heritage. June 9, 16,and 23rd. Cost $75 for Oklahoma Heritage Association members, $100 for non members, lunch is provided.
